Wackychimp's Home Theater Design - Inspiration Page

I wish the previous owner of our house would have consulted me before they finished off this walk-up attic space. I'd have asked them to do some things differently. ;) As you can see I've mocked in the faux skylight on this image. And, yes the room is symetrical. I've had to stitch together two images and the perspective is a little off. After looking this page over, here are a few more photos just randomly placed on a page (just an easy way for me to collect them all in one place.).

I love the idea of a skylight with a fiber optic star ceiling. Lit from the sides with cove lighting (rope lights). I'd need to get a mural painter to do the sky properly.

The idea here is to have this look like one of those mad-scientist or eccentric-world-traveler studys. Strange collections all over the walls. Much of my movie prop collection would be displayed here. The idea being that when you're watching a movie up here you're surrounded by the props.

Rusted hatches for doors! Yesss! I'd like to do this but I'm not sure how to fit it into the rest of the theme. Maybe this room is on a ship? On a "steampunky"-blimp? Don't know.

Now this is just awesome.
